The attire which consists of striking headdresses adorned with body paints, unique shells, and huge feathers. Besides their face, men also color their beards to match their faces so that they are more attractive. On their bodies, men wear belts made from beaten bark with strings and leaves that cover the front and back of their private regions. String bags made from tree barks are also part of the men’s attire. Women also have a traditional attire that comprises skirts and scarfs made from strings and cuscus fur respectively.
Most times, wearing traditional attire and painting of faces is reserved for gatherings that involve all the three tribes. The traditional gatherings commonly referred to as “Sing Sing” involve dancing, singing, and even war cries as a way to intimidate other tribes.
