The Bena tribe has ceremonial body cleansing, which is done when a young guy becomes a warrior, also some people do it every two months, they will go to the men’s house or the river. The cleansing is done by the letting of blood, tongue bleeding, cane swallowing, and nose bleeding. Also before going into tribal warfare they use the cleansing ceremony.
